Arsenal vs Newcastle february 16

Win 4-0 Artetas team has finally gotten somewhere. The first half was not spectacular in any way. A few chances for both teams. In the second half things got better. Arsenal opens the scoring with a nice header from Aubameyang, after a great cross from Pepe. A few minutes later Saka fools two defenders and feeds Pepe for an easy goal. The away team had two good chances half way of the period. One of them hitting the post.  In the final minutes of the game Lacazette first feed Özil for the third of the game. And later gets the last one him self, after a nice pass from Pepe.

Arsenal vs Brigthon & Hove

Another disappointing performance from Arsenal, in Freddie Ljungergs second game as interim head coach. In the first half Brighton was clearly the best team, and midway through Arsenal was pushed back until Brigthon got a goal on a corner. Sokratis couldn't clear and Brighton got an easy goal from 5 meters. In the first half of the second half, Arsenal played like Arsenal. Pepe was brought on, and had a good impact. Lacazette scored a brilliant goal, and later David Louiz scored but the latter goal was correctly disallowed by VAR. The last ten or fifteen Arsenal again was back to a slower pace, and Brighton got a goal. Arsenal was not able to put any real pressure in the dying minutes. Result 1-2.

Arsenal vs Aston Villa 22 September 2019 Arsenal started on the wrong foot again, getting behind after 20 mins. After 41 mins Maitland-Niles got his second yellow card and was sent off. I the second half Arsenal scored on a penalty, witch Auba gave to Pepe, but Villa got it back right away. Calum Chabers made a nice equalizer (2-2) after 80 mins and Aubameyang made it 3-2 on a great freekick after 84 mins.

Arsenal vs Tottenham 1 September 2019 2-2 Arsenal had a real bad start, not playing well. Leno gave a big fat rebound on a shot, giving Eriksen an easy tap in after 10 mins. Things got worse when Xhaka headlessly tackeled Son in the penalty area, giving Tottenham and Kane a correct penalty, which he scored on. Lacazette scored a terrific goal just before halftime, from close range. After 70 mins Guendozi lobs the ball into the penalty area and Aubameyang steers it in on a volley tap in. Fantastic goal! In the 80th minute Arsenal had a disallowed goal. Sokratis scored from a cross by Kolasinac, but Kolasinac was off side. Even when ending with a draw it felt like a win, both because coming back from two goals down, and from the third disallowed goal.

Arsenal vs Burnley 17 August

The game 1st half: Arsenal had a good start and Lacazette had a great header that was saved a couple of minutes before he scored at 13 minutes. A strong goal by Laca holding of two defenders and having his back against the goal. The game went back an forth for a while until Burnley got the equalizer at 43 minutes. The initial shot by McNeil was partially blocked and reached Barnes unmarked for the easy tap in. Arsenal had a great goal from Nelson waived off for offside. Ceballos played great and the defensive play was not too convincing for Arsenal in the first half. 2nd half : Pepe enters the game. Aubameyang scores a great goal after having a great chance just before. Torreira had a great chance late in the game. More great play from Ceballos and some nice moves from Pepe in the second half.
